The sensory world of beer
At the Stiegl Brauwelt, beer is a multi-sensory experience. By this we mean that it's not only a matter of seeing and hearing, but also touching, smelling and of course tasting.

The path to this beer museum is of course via some steps ("Stiegl"), a feature from which the brewery originally derived its name.
In 1492, a set of eponymous steps led down to the waters of the Almkanal (canal) in Salzburg - and since 1992, steps have also led to a very special beer exhibition within the walls of the old malthouse.
Public and private tours provide a detailed insight into the world of beer. Three sample beers, which you taste during the tour, and a small gift from the brewery shop are included in the price.
Individuals can explore the museum by using the Audioguide, available in six different languages.
After exploring the museum, visitors can dine in our Brauwelt restaurant and try the house beers and international varieties. Souvenirs are also available at the Stiegl Brewery Shop.
It's a visit you won't forget in a hurry - after all, the Stiegl Brauwelt is a true paradise for beer lovers. So all that remains for us to say is: "We look forward to seeing you, and... Prost!"
